It does a disservice to all the people who rightly and fairly criticize Steams questionable decisions that we tend to just sort of assume that they are, in some way, rooting for the other marketplaces. Because the people in charge of those places are often batshit insane, and say things like this.

the only good thing about genAI is that it got me to really love seeing bad art, because I know a person put in time and effort, made themselves vulnerable by showing it to others, and is trying to improve. I value that more than anything now

Just so it's clear. It's not allowing AI because it's trying to create a clean dataset for training AI. It's not because any of the involved parties actually care about human created art.

Just so it's clear. It's not allowing AI because it's trying to create a clean dataset for training AI. It's not because any of the involved parties actually care about human created art.
