As usual Jack has been working through my triggers & helping. Things are going more smoothly. I also got a proper training lead, why didn't I get one of these 10 years ago it's such a game changer. They feel like they're autonomous but I can keep them safe. It's key to getting them to toilet outside
I have to say fostering dogs when you have OCD is not a great combo. I'm so freaking stressed and anxious. I think this will be our last foster I just can't handle it. I'm soooooo sensitive.

Crashed out so hard about THAT needle-drop in #HeatedRivalry episode 4 that I wrote an entire article about it.

Heated Rivalry Episode 4 Destroyed A Generation With A Single Needle-Drop - SlashFilm
The fourth episode of Heated Rivalry includes a needle-drop that evokes queer longing and desire like none other, and viewers are still reeling from it.

Australia passes a shameful milestone: over one million children now living in poverty
For all the focus on inflation, interest rates and cost-of-living pressures this year, the nation quietly passed a shameful milestone in 2025, ensuring a bleak Christmas for more Australian families t...

After like a decade of horrific pelvic pain, a hysterectomy, then perimenopause changing my body again... I can't tell you how good it is to be enjoying sex like I did in my 20's. But way better because I'm not driven by an insane level of hormones & despair (& gender dysphoria if I'm honest).

Got a new little foster friend Parker. He is TINY, 2.5kgs. He's going to be staying with us while he heals from surgery and getting prepared for his new family (learning to be on lead, toileting outside, sleeping in a crate). We've fostered a lot and this little guy is gonna do great.

As lonely and boring December can be if you don't celebrate Christmas and avoid parties like the plague, it's still a bajillion times better than being out of your mind shopping for shit people will bin immediately. I do like cooking something on Christmas Day I would never bother to any other time.

Binged the Celebrity Traitors this weekend and it did NOT disappoint. I was literally screaming the entire final round table. I think I understand sports now.

I have finally gotten Morticia ready for long day trips. Rode to the station this morning & now on the train to Melbs & will cycle all over Melbourne & then catch vline home. I have desperately needed this level of freedom since I moved to the country 4.5 years ago. I missed being a cyclist so hard.

Started watching Heated Rivalry last night and the rumours of that guys bubble butt are 100% true and it's absolutely a master class in graphic sex scenes that doesn't show genitals. HBO schooling us yet again on how to be horny. Thank the goddess.

I’ve been rewatching The Simpsons with our middle kid and we just started season 3, the first season Conan was in the room, and the show accelerates to such an extent it feels like entering comedy hyperspace

What no one tells you about working in the public service is that you will be exposed at minimum to casual corruption... And in my case corruption at a level so staggering it's existentially torn me apart. I feel like I'm a teenager again learning how the world really works. It's completely fucked.

After 6 years of estrangement I reached out to my sister today. This has been a big step for me that I have talked about on & off in therapy for about a year. I wonder if she will want contact. I am trying to remain neutral. I would dearly love contact with her and my brother.

I've been off work 2.5 weeks and I've been so busy I'm sick of it. Got a proper job interview today and think after this I'm going to cool my jets. I want to craft! I want to go to the movies! I want to ride my bike around.

My dog Buzz used to LOVE having grass tickle his butthole to get him to poop. It was so funny, he'd run around trying to find long grass or weeds that would tickle that itch.
If I were a dog, I'd put my butthole in the snow after a poop as a refreshing treat

I had a life changing sleep last night. I guess after I had a 12 hour meltdown. I think I exorcised the last 10 months. Finally starting to feel after this whole ordeal.

Going to build a sci-fi religion around this dog, who is clearly the reincarnation of a galactic emperor.
Some of those dogs at the dog show are just obscene abominations unto the lord.

Serious question. Every exercise thing I've signed up for (skate class, pickleball, yoga) eventually has me in a show down about being filmed. I do not want to be filmed or on their social media. It should just be a choice I can make, but I also have a history of DV & don't want that info out there.

Just putting it out there - you may be as shocked as I was to find out that even if you have your cervix removed you can still get CERVICAL CANCER. Thankfully I had never had HPV so I no longer need to get pap smears but truly having had female sex organs just keeps on giving.

Although I mostly find Pluribus uninteresting, I am impressed that the biggest show of the year centres a miserable areshole middle aged woman. It feels like a win for all of us 🤣🤣

Australia recorded ZERO cases of cervical cancer in women under 25 for the first time since they started tracking the cancer in the 80s.

This is the power of vaccines.

The HPV vaccine is extremely effective at preventing cancer.

Viruses can be oncogenic. Get your vaccines and protect yourself!
newsGP - Australia set for world-first cervical cancer elimination
Vaccination programs have played a key role, and GPs remain ‘instrumental’ in boosting screening rates to reach the 2035 target.
