Australia was in the BELEM DECLARATION ON THE TRANSITION AWAY FROM FOSSIL FUELS for about 24 hours, before its Prime Minister declared that you need to extract more gas to help the transition away from fossil fuels.

Australia was in the BELEM DECLARATION ON THE TRANSITION AWAY FROM FOSSIL FUELS for about 24 hours, before its Prime Minister declared that you need to extract more gas to help the transition away from fossil fuels.

Any political “leader” still selling the obviously false choice between #ClimateAction and “the economy” is just reminding us that they clearly don’t understand either the climate crisis OR the economy.

A COP without addressing real issues is like a condo meeting where those who party with loud music until 5 a.m. try to convince those who have to get up at 6 to go to work that one hour of sleep is better than nothing — and that they still have to split the city fine for disturbing the neighborhood.

Parabéns ao Corpo de Bombeiros do Estado do Pará pelo rápida resposta, controle e extinção do fogo que atingiu um dos pavilhões da COP30, aparentemente por excesso de carga em uma simples tomada. Em 6 minutos o fogo foi controlado. Não houve nenhuma pessoa ferida. Protocolos de segurança perfeitos.

Não sei se isso ajuda a convencer quem trabalha por causas, que se move por propósitos, e que ainda acha que permanecer no X vale a pena pelo engajamento que proporciona, de que isso não é uma boa ideia. Acho que não. Mas mais um post sobre o assunto não vai doer muito.
