Studies have shown that tiny pieces of plastic, which may originate from everyday products such as food packaging or plastic toys, can make bees more susceptible to bacteria and viruses.

In turn, the microplastics can injure or even kill bees, and make pollination more difficult. wapo.st/3RDRRBO

Democracy is burning, and we need sites like Bluesky more than ever. And Senator Durbin wants to repeal 230, which would massively stifle the ability of sites like Bluesky to exist, while massively empowering X and Meta.

Why?

It seems that someone in his office doesn't understand 230.
It’s time to repeal Section 230. We must be able to take social media companies to court for addicting kids and enabling drug trafficking on their platforms.
Sen. DURBIN: Fentanyl often gets to our kids and young people through the internet.

Section 230 absolves social media companies from any responsibility. “That has got to end.”
