Looking at the Highway Cam Merritt to #Kamloops looks good. I hope it remains that way thru tomorrow. MiniMe1 plus 1 will be travelling thru to join us at her grandparents in SA. Would hate for a sudden, drastic change in weather to throw a wrench into those plans.

Forsure! Mom is 83 and doesnt do much baking anymore. My dad has really become handy around the kitchen. I usually do Thanksgiving but mom gets tired really easy now & doesnt like to travel much so thats why we are headed out their way this time around.

Ive never made Irish Soda bread. I need to try it and see how it tastes compaired to "traditional" biscuits. I like using muffin tins too. Just so much easier to use a scoop and plop the batter into each mold.

I made 72 Buttertarts this morning to take to my parents house for Thanksgiving. Between my men, (2 adult sons and Hubby), and myself, any guesses on how many of those will actually make it to dinner tomorrow??

No plans today. We will be heading out to SA for Thanksgiving dinner at my parents place. All the kids will be there too. My daughter plans on coming up from Merritt. I hope the highways stay clear. Today is a lazy day for us but I do plan on baking Buttertarts for tommorows dinner.

Pet Peve ..going to a store I don't normally shop at to get a specific item. See a bunch of things on sale, prices too good to pass over. Leave store after buying those items & realizing an hour after returning home I forgot that one NEEDED item! 😳😕

Went out shopping with MiniMe3 today only to come home, open the Socials, and find out that Dianne Keaton has died. So sad. I loved a lot of her movies. The Universe does it again and takes the WRONG 79yo. Damnit!

Booked for my covid/flu vaccines next week!! Get them done sooner than later. Last year in the fall I had one health crisis over another and kept pushing forward when Id go into the pharmacy. I ended up with Covid over New Years. It was hell. Not risking it this year! #Lupus #AutoimmuneDisease
