ICE is running a “conveyor belt” of illegally detained Minnesota families.

Agents are arresting entire families with legal status and immediately shipping them off to Texas to deny them legal representation and avoid the federal courts in Minnesota.

The cruelty is endless.

175 billion for ICE and detention centers in the GOP's billionaire bill.

This is what they're doing with the money. Building concentration camps.

And it's not going to be used for immigrants only.

But that's not all.

He and his son have a media empire that controls CBS, Paramount, Warner, CNN, and more.

This will fail in court. Lemon will be exonerated. But the point is harassment and making him shell out money for lawyers. Meanwhile, the DOJ is spending our tax dollars for Trump’s revenge activities. It is absurd. www.nytimes.com/2026/01/30/u...

It doesn’t matter that Don Lemon hired a superstar attorney or that the case against him is meritless.

There are too many journalists with far less money and far fewer resources than Lemon who will be more cautious going forward. That was the intent, and that’s the main problem.

Not feeling that TACO-surrender-pivot vibe. Maybe Senate Democrats should include ICE and CBP exiting Minnesota (and everywhere else that doesn't want them) as one of their conditions to pass the DHS funding bill.
Q: So you're not pulling back in Minnesota?

TRUMP: No no. Not at all.

True yesterday, true today.
The soon-to-be-signed Trump-Schumer Deal is a betrayal of the American people.

I'll tell you why: ICE has all the money it needs from the "Big Beautiful Bill"—it's the other spending bills Trump is worried about.

Schumer's about to give him all he wants.

This is BS. No money for ICE! Dems are feckless. As if this administration will abide by ANYTHING.
Dems coalescing around 5 restrictions on ICE, I'm told:

DHS required to cooperate with state probes (big)
CBP stays at border
warrants for arrests
IDs, bodycams
ICE out of churches, schools

"That package unites a lot of Dems," Sen Chris Murphy tells me on the pod:

I remember having a long multi year discussion across journalism outlets and conferences about how scoops don't actually drive traffic, and it is a poor goal because aggregation kills any advantage quickly. Got to imagine that's more true with AI in search. Depth, presentation and detail are targets
In a staff meeting, Bari Weiss says CBS News will be "toast" if it clings to its broadcast audience and will put a "huge emphasis on scoops...scoops of ideas" (Alex Weprin/The Hollywood Reporter)
