This is an excellent analysis by two lawyers who know what they are talking about. All the noise about “nationalizing elections” is nonsense going nowhere without a constitutional amendment. What this is about is voter intimidation and depressing turnout.

Pretty much word for word the analysis of The Frankfurt School.
This is bleak: Jes Staley, currently CEO of Barclays, reassuring Epstein that popular revolt against financial elites is unlikely because capitalism and pop culture have defanged social movements, leaving people more invested in consumption than justice.

"But how will we get down?" groaned the Humbug, looking at the wreckage below. "There's no stairway and we're sailing higher every minute."

"Well, time flies, doesn't it?" asked Milo.

"On many occasions," barked Tock, jumping eagerly to his feet. "I'll take everyone down."

Another step in the dismantlement of popular culture and entertainment. What a shallow, hollow society we are racing to become.
The mass market paperback, light in the hand and on the wallet, once filled airport bookstores and supermarket media aisles. You may never buy a new one again.

Essay I'm currently working on: When “Prestige” TV Jumped the Shark: The Problem with Pluribus.

I gave Pluribis a chance and watched all nine episodes, so I now feel comfortable saying it’s one of the worst shows I’ve seen in quite a while. I’ll likely write an essay on it: “When Prestige TV Jumped the Shark” or something like that. I wish I had my 9 hours back. 👎

One of my all-time favorite shows. And Diana Rigg is in my top 5 favorite actresses.
