While living in a domestic violence shelter to try to hide from my ex, I learned a lot about our supposed social support systems.
There are waiting lists even for DV shelters, but I was admitted as an emergency before I really even knew what was happening/how it works.

My grandfather was a Sargent with the US Army in France in WW1. I will never ever get over these disgusting traitors betraying everything he fought and suffered for. The fact is that Trump is Putin’s pal and has zero respect for democracy or the rule of law, zero decency or honor of any kind.
That the Republicans in Congress are allowing that despicable greedy selfish man to tear our country apart and destroy our relationship with our allies - forged in blood and our mutual fight for freedom- is unspeakable.
