Today the Pentagon censured Senator Mark Kelly and moved to strip part of his earned military retirement benefits for stating the truth.

New Years Eve I woke up, took dogs out fed them and then went back to bed. Had a 2 glasses of champaign at 8:30pm. Went to bed at 9:30. Not sure if 2026 looks any different than 2025 so far.

I went to Christmas Eve mass, the deacon gave a good sermon until he likened people who support choice about abortion to Herod the Great. What about Christians who ignore children in poverty once they are born?

This year I put up fewer Christmas decorations, just finding it harder to get into the spirit. Took a look at The Polar Express hoping to hear the bells ring again.

I expected to be eating chicken strips for Thanksgiving, then I went to my local food pantry and they asked if I wanted a turkey. YES, please! Now I can enjoy the holiday! Have a safe and blessed Thanksgiving.
