In a global economy, like we have now, free trade makes much more sense than putting up barriers to trade, like tariffs. Besides what Trump wants people to believe, tariffs are a tax on the consumers, not the exporting countries. The tariffs are IMPORT tariffs. He can’t tax a foreign country.

If ACA subsidies aren’t extended, the CBO estimates 2.2 million people will lose their health insurance in the first year, and even more thereafter (www.cbo.gov/system/files...).
Some of those people will die.

People are going to die because of the pending insurance premium hikes. I know the terrain of discourse is inconsistent and goes through a tumble cycle every 24 hours, but I really think we need to hone in on this reality and drive it home for people.
