This is superb, from Sen. Kelly.
Please watch.

Insider note: First sentence of Kelly's presentation is uncannily powerful echo of my favorite TV ad ever. "Imported from Detroit," 15 yrs ago

Serendipity? Embedded memory by Kelly people? Perfect for both.

If the attack on Venezuela and the abduction of its president were part of a "law enforcement operation," not a war, how come the U.S. still has a huge armada offshore? When cops nab a suspect, do they often set up a camp with hundreds of officers near the scene of the arrest?

We need a new generation of leaders who are the voices of democracy, freedom, social justice, & the rule of law.

A new generation that renews the “we” in “we the people.”

Instead of fretting over Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic Party should embrace him as part of its future.

Republicans rushed tax cuts for the wealthy but delayed their cuts to Medicaid and food assistance. Why?

So they don't kick in until after the midterms.

Help spread the word.

Nothing
Nothing about this is okay.

The President of the United States is on Fox News right now gabbing about the U.S. attack on Venezuela before addressing the American people.

So the new order of information is: Truth Social → Fox News → the public → Congress, maybe?

Dear news media,
Why not spend a few minutes today explaining how the process of going to war is supposed to work in a constitutional democracy? Because it ain't this.

It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.

It’s about oil and regime change.

And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.

Trump says we need to go after drug cartels.

Meanwhile, he disbanded a DOJ task force that took them on.

And he pardoned a former Honduran president convicted of drug trafficking.

Trump doesn't care about drugs — he wants to be able to declare war on anyone he labels an enemy.

It's a power grab.

The federal minimum wage has been $7.25 since 2009. That's unacceptable.

In California, we're about growing the economy and wages for working people:
💵 $16.90 minimum wage
💵 $25 minimum wage for health care workers
💵 $20 minimum wage for fast food workers

What the KENNEDY Center used to be…

Remember that time Aretha Franklin performed at the 2015 Kennedy Center Honors, paying tribute to Carole King, who co-wrote “You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman,” and it brought a tear to Obama’s eye and everyone to their feet? And Carole King’s reaction. Wow.
