Monogamous people exist, and also, sleeping with multiple people without informing them puts every party at risk of contracting an STD without realizing. Untreated STDs can be *fatal*. Also, when you enter a monogamous relationship, you willingly surrender the right to fuck other people.

So let me get this straight…they’re trying to intimidate a high ranking combat veteran/pilot who flew over 30 combat missions…then became an astronaut to essentially ride a giant gas can into space, while supporting his wife‘s recovery as a victim of political violence AND then ran for Senate?

Right? Like also, *Bill* Clinton actually *did* visit my home area that year, a place that usually only Republicans deign to bother with.

Like whyyyyyy was Milo Manheim the first time they got someone who could sing, I know it's a minor role but that means we're not asking for much!
November 25, 2025 at 1:44 AM
(I just wanted a stable recording of "Could We Start Again" that I could listen to but no. Apparently casting a Peter who could hold a note on that song wasn't permitted until recently)
November 25, 2025 at 1:43 AM
Hmmm, maybe, sometimes I have to shop around with a soundtrack. (Although quite frankly, for Jesus Christ Superstar, it seems like the only Peter they've ever cast who could sing was the Hollywood Bowl performance.)

It's like, bizarre because I'll cop to another favorite song from a musical being El Tango de Roxanne, I think it just scratches the wrong part of my brain for some reason. I do wonder if I'd like the stuff that isn't blasted everywhere better
November 25, 2025 at 1:29 AM
Lol you're so valid, I honestly wish everyone the best and so much fun, I just have an arbitrary loathing of the two most popular songs. Couldn't even describe why. I'm sure it's a fantastic musical and that the movie is good, I'm just picky in indescribable ways
November 25, 2025 at 1:25 AM
I don't even have a good way of describing why, my taste is completely arbitrary and says nothing about the quality of a given piece of media. "One Night in Bangkok" is one of my favorite songs from a musical and I already prefer the version from the revival over the original, for example.
November 25, 2025 at 1:22 AM
Will not be participating in Wicked discourse because I loathe every song I've heard from that musical and have no way of being objective through my seething

Oh, I blocked them. I don't like spending all day arguing with these fucks
November 25, 2025 at 1:18 AM
Enjoy that bed you made!
November 25, 2025 at 1:17 AM
I simply do not give a singular shit about people who *chose* not to vote. You clearly wanted the outcome you got, why are you whining? This was an obvious consequence of your actions!
November 25, 2025 at 1:17 AM
If you don't vote, you don't get to bitch about a motherfucking thing that's happening! You made a choice, and you get to be happy about it or miserable in fucking silence.
November 25, 2025 at 1:16 AM
Like no actually, they're a self-centered little brat who can't be bothered to do the bare minimum for their fellow citizens. Get off your goddamn fucking ass and vote.
November 25, 2025 at 1:15 AM
They whined that I have "low self-worth" because I don't need a candidate to make a fucking speech in my state to get off my goddamn ass to vote.
November 25, 2025 at 1:14 AM
Neither candidate spent much time in California either, and you don't see me whining about how I need my hand held to go fill in a fucking bubble

this is of course, not what a 50 state strategy is or has ever been,

50 state does not mean, has never meant, the candidate for President runs in all 50 states no matter what the polling says

50 state means the national party supports all 50 state parties and fights winnable elections there
She didn't come to Indiana at all. She sent Kaine who zipped into Gary, spent a few hours, and left.
The Democratic party as a whole doesn't seem to have a 50- state strategy.

I hate that like the internet has nuked people's brains, I saw someone bitching about "why is the President ALWAYS! like 90!"

Obama was in his 40s, so was Bill Clinton, W was 54, just in the last 10 years have Presidents been old (and people could have voted for the 59 year old)

the final section of it walks right up to the line of saying that RFK, jr is fundamentally and dangerously wrong about *everything*, and then stops just short of it, you can read it in the subtext but it should’ve been made text, given the stakes.
this whole piece has a lot of pulled punches that read suspiciously like editorial interference, because it’s not a puff piece. the cover photo is deeply fucking weird, whatever they think they’re doing with it, it doesn’t work
Over many interviews, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told Michael Scherer about how he plans to remake America’s public-health system. Can he lead the scientific establishment he’s spent much of his life crusading against?
