didn’t find any bees tonight in vintage story. but i did create an apiary to keep them in once i do. i also collected loads of pine and charcoal, marked out some spots that are likely to have copper deposits, and i’m nearly ready to harvest my first big load of crops :)

maybe prepping to start a beehive today in vintage story. get some honey and beeswax going so i have some more options re: food storage coming up.

Well there’s a whole generation emotionally crystallized by fear and adherence to traditions that can no longer hold the world together, battle lines are vague and irregular, and the newer generation is tragically sacrificed despite attempts to propel them into something new entirely.

one of the really incredible results of high-budget widescreen adaptations of UC material lies in depictions of Earth. From what i’ve seen of hathaway it takes incredible advantage of framing the vast wide-open plains of the planet as somehow larger than space itself.

I’m listening to a playlist of classic southern rock songs and thinking about mecha. southern rock might be the perfect balance of warm nostalgia and overt individualist fascism to apply to gundam-style mecha shows. the Turn A in the Gallop trundling across an empty midwestern plain to Free Bird.
