In my post conference feels on the train home, but had such a fab time at my first MedRen! I met so many amazing people and feel incredibly lucky to be part of such a stimulating community. Def heading home with a huge to-do list!

Huge thanks to this year’s organisers! @medren2025.bsky.social

Trying to beat the heat today with some MedRen prep (and way too many open windows) 🥵

Can’t wait to see everyone in Newcastle!!

Current mood after a busy day in the UL sorting through some notation— combined with yesterday’s session at the BL, I’ve now added 146 new chants to my Big Pontifical Spreadsheet in the last two days 😵‍💫

A beautiful (if a bit chilly) day of chant at Brockley church! Had so much fun singing with everyone and teaching some medieval notations ☀️

(charter) business in the front, (chant) party in the back #fragmentfriday handrit.is/manuscript/v...
Charter from 1311 (apparently written on St. Swithun's Day, July 2) written on the back (?) of a page from a gradual. a page of chant with the introit for Advent I, "Ad te Levavi". The "A" has a large oval in it in which a figure is seated, but also seemingly following the chant's directive to lift one's eyes, so that it looks a bit like Christ is eyerolling.
