Something I’ve done in retirement is take up stone carving. I was intrigued to find this book recommended in one of the online groups and ordered a copy. It’s just arrived and guess who wrote the back cover blurb?

Prediction: Trump will not win the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday & will then turn on the committee and the prize itself as worthless and woke, declaring that he never wanted it in the first place.

All this hoo-hah will inadvertently give more attention to the actual winner(s), whomever they may be.

The last disc of the last album in the last box of my playthrough of all the Bowie Eras box sets that I started back on January 1st, not knowing that the final box would be released just in time.

Dad’s books are full of empathy, common sense, and a healthy suspicion of the powerful. But at its heart his work is also about how systems keep people poor while pretending it’s their own fault. So I hope Kemi’s taking notes as well as reading the jokes.
