Got forced into the drp from an improperly done rif, I'm starting to wonder if it was because I requested accessible copies of the documents they sent me.
another wave of illegal and immoral RIFs are underway tonight. I'm hearing that feds not only feds with reasonable accommodations are being targeted but also the departments that determine what RAs are.

The alt gov family is large & they are strong. Thanks to our @altusds.altgov.info colleagues for telling us what happened with plain language .gov. Also thanks to @alt18f.bsky.social for backing up the original content.
Glad we are saving information together. We are stronger together.
Many people noticed plainlanguage.gov was migrated to digital.gov/topics/plain..., where it has been *consolidated*.

Our friends at @alt18f.bsky.social posted a version of the original content at plainlanguage.18f.org

Unlike other sites that have disappeared, this one just changed.

If you work for the government, you know this shit is a blatant violation of the Hatch Act. This administration is eroding the professional civil service, and soon enough, citizens will realize they can no longer trust anything their own government says. The walls are beginning to crumble folks.

Be nice to feds and former feds today. It's a hard day in many ways.

The assholes causing this trauma both enjoy it and are in a position to inflict it.

This sucks, but it will be remembered.

Most interesting part of the speech—a familiar MAGA tirade—was the audience reaction. Didn’t hear a single person applaud. Generals and admirals sat silently during this political lecture from a former National Guard captain. The right reaction.

I worked with some of the folks OFH serve, in the FHEO group at HUD.

If you wanted an expert tour of amazing civil service by dedicated civil servants, FHEO would be the place to go.

HUD overall is fragile with regards to brain drain, last numbers I knew it was the highest % able to retire org. 💔
