Das Wolfgang-Gentner Programm am #CERN wurde verlängern! Gefördert vom #BMFTR gibt es jährlich bis zu 30 zusätzliche Stellen für deutsche Doktorand*innen am CERN. Die Berwerbung läuft regulär über das CERN Doktorandenprogramm: careers.cern/jobs/tsc-doct/. Die nächste Bewerbungsrunde endet am 23.02.

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

DFG erlaubt Einsatz von KI in der Begutachtung.
Wenn wir jetzt noch die AI dazu kriegen, die komplette Forschung zu machen, haben wir den Menschen komplett von der Last des Forschungsprozzeses befreit und er kann sich komplett auf wichtige Dinge wie Reisekostenerstattungsanträge konzentrieren.

Heute gelernt: Wenn man bei der Deutschen Bahn mit Kleinkind bucht muss man nur die zusätzliche Sitzplatzreservierung bezahlen, ein extra Ticket gibt es nicht. Im Zug kann man dann aber nur die Anzahl der Tickets einchecken, nicht alle Sitzplätze. Selbst das Zugpersonal kann das nicht richtig machen

It's not just social media. Looks like visitors to the US from Europe and other countries that are part of the visa waiver program will have to submit an enormous amount of data about themselves and their families, including DNA, if proposed new rules are accepted
