That's true. Though I took him in OBP leagues where he'll maybe play up. TBH I'm less worried about being a one cat problem; my concern is that he just can't hit MLB pitching. It's high risk/high reward but (IMO) without keeper value the reward isn't big enough for the risk, in most cases
Probably will be a batting average sinkhole this year but I was surprised to see batx has pretty good numbers for him (except bavg) with a 37% k rate.

I know "Man, I dunno" doesn't move subs or gain followers, but it's okay to say it. I dunno if Munetaka Murakami is going to work against MLB pitching. The data we do have suggests it'll be tough, but not impossible. He could be a Rafael Devers type who overcomes big swing-and-miss issues.

keeper budget in this case. we held 29 players at
$373. but our offense is quite strong and our pitching should be enough in a points league, once we fill in the depth.

The @fangraphs.com staff league @ottoneu.com draft has just kicked off. @nivshah.com and I have like $0 to spend (ok $27) to fill like half our roster (ok only a quarter...11 spots). this is going to test my patience. already annoyed that @dolphhauldhagen.bsky.social got a $24 Freddie Freeman.

Know this is ADP based, but it's a great source of interesting low cost SP regardless of format. Have an @ottoneu.com auction tonight that I'm entering with $27 and 11 spots to fill. I need 2-3 SP and this article from @sporer.bsky.social is gonna help a ton.
It's a preseason friendly and all, but I continue to believe Osaze would be the best striker on the roster given the chance and getting him and Morris on the field together (either Morris on the wing or 2 in the front) is the strongest lineup the Sounders could use. Do I have evidence for this? No.

If I had written this, it would have just been thousands of heart emojis. @davyandrewsdavy.bsky.social does a much better job breaking this down and as a Cleveland fan I think Davy does a great job capturing not only what Jose does on the field but just what this means to the org and fans.

Feels like an offer Cleveland could have made and it would have really helped. I don't think Bader is a star but at this price you can use him as your starting CF and if guys like Delauter, Rodriguez, kayfus, valera etc force your hand, you use him as a bench piece and it's still fine.

Is the only requirement to be an ICE agent to just be insanely soft? Like do they just sit down in the interview and the interviewer says one slightly unkind thing, and if they flip over the table and try to assault the interviewer, they get the job?

No one told me 20 years ago that live music in my 40s would be taking my daughter to a Taylor Swift tribute band and then having to register her for a summer camp from the bar because the registration opened 12 hours early and it might sell out if I don't act immediately. Parenthood is weird.
