Today I am on strike.
🇬🇧✊🌀 Ubisoft : enough is enough! Faced with the arbitrary decision of the CEO who doesn’t even dare talking to employees anymore, unions are calling for a strike on February 10th, 11th and 12th.

Considering who wrote and directed this movie, I'm not surprised she misinterpreted the story so drastically.

That is so cute! 😍

I also really appreciate that the tech said you're way more likely to get called back on your first/baseline scan, so if I have to come in again I won't be as panicky.

Mammogram complete! That was way easier and less painful than I expected.

Haha apparently I went to the wrong place, despite the info on my appointment in MyChart telling me to check in at this desk. Why am I not surprised? They're going to come get me in a few minutes, at least.

I'm having that same issue with PA Medicaid (now waiting on my previous employer to send me a letter saying I'm not employed there). It's so stupid that they make you prove a negative and your bank statements aren't enough!

Sure, the first 30 minutes are free, but I've been here 15 minutes and they haven't even checked me in yet.

The annoying thing about choosing a hospital facility for a test based on location is that you don't know until you get there whether you have to pay for parking or not. 🙄

And, of course, this one did not ask why I was unsubscribing when I immediately clicked to do so. Where's my "I did not sign up for these emails" option when I need it?

I just googled something and went to a product website, looked around and didn't do anything else, and I got a marketing email from the company offering a discount for the item I looked at. That's fucked up, man.

This whole thread is a brilliant take down of noted sex predator, Neil Gaiman, bit this right here is the bottom line.

Many men will believe some male rando over women with CVS long receipts.

Fuck Neil Gaiman forever and a day.
A Rando on the Internet, who will not stand behind their work with name & reputation--that person has Gaiman's approval. WOMEN who have done serious reporting on Neil Gaiman?? Oh no, Bad, not Good.
Have pity, they cannot help it, for they are mere hysterical females

Every time you pop up, Neil:

I saw you got some other recommendations for winding, but the easiest way I've found is to use the empty tube from toilet paper. Cut a slit about an inch down and hang a piece inside the tube, and then you can pull from the center of the ball once it's done.

Good people. I know everyone is tapped out right now. But if anyone has any extra funds to donate to Biddy the Pittie puppy’s care, I would appreciate so much right now.

Biddy ate a hand warmer when I was on a bathroom break from RR. She is staying in ICU. Estimated cost so far $2k-$3k. 😭

this is a fake problem. no one is saying this to regular, offline people who are coming around. they’re saying it to people who are engaged in professional political analysis who committed professional malpractice by scolding people who saw what was coming.

no, those people shouldn’t get a break.
Bluesky idea: if people who didn't agree with you change their opinions so that they do agree with you, why not be happy that you are making progress - rather than complaining that they are "only just catching up"?
