I’ve seen a lot of mixed comments on this. Many thoughts, but my main one at this time is: as African Americans, many of us were not raised with both parents so it’s hard to believe you can have something, when you haven’t seen a success of it. What are your thoughts?

Before I get too comfortable, I needed to check the list of cities and schools closed today. My city still closed and so are the schools and colleges around. It’s going to be a good day to catch up on some things. 😮💨

Definitely feel this friend. Concentrate on what’s in front of you because you can’t change the past. Easier said than done I know.
I need to learn how to be satisfied with right now. My mind is always in the future or the past thinking about the next time or the last time.

Almost at my goal for the night. I may stay up and study a little longer considering I have no where to in the mornings…. Except for meetings but I’m not driving to them. lol

I’ve always read fast so I really enjoyed this! Definitely had to lock in the last few sentences. As a percussionist the drum solo is what started to capture my attention. lol

Being home has definitely been relaxing. Not really having any deadlines allowed the space to focus on things at home and relax without time limits or obligations somewhere else. Let me enjoy this last day in tomorrow.
