Is anyone using more than one account across ATProto? What are your use cases/experiences like?

In particular I'm trying to figure out separating work from personal stuff (a line which already gets blurry when it's about code), and struggling to fully map out what that juggle would look like.

Every time I look at an unnecessary financial predicament caused by our healthcare system -- for myself, or my friends -- it reminds me that I fucking hate this place

Curiosity: are any of these geo-based ATProto apps using/contributing to OpenStreetMap

I kind of feel like there's an opportunity to build a game around this -- like if Pokemon Go were less of a psyop

So? I turned to the Oratrice Mechanique D'Analyse Cardinale

What's your point?

Is anyone here making effort to separate personal from professional identities?

Asking mostly as a dev trying to figure out how I want to interface with Tangled, but also sort of about the alternatives to LinkedIn, and kind of in general about a spec (currently) made up of entirely public data

Maybe I'm missing something, or maybe I'm just describing issue tags on @tangled.org...

But is there a place on ATProto for finding ATProto projects in need of contributors?

Tech publications last year: LLMs are finally killing the 8GB RAM option on laptops, because you need more system resources than that to run one

Tech publications now: LLMs are bringing back the 8GB RAM option on laptops, by doing the same thing to memory prices that cryptocurrency did to GPUs

Just a musing, but does anyone else feel like single-line comments would make for a huge quality-of-life improvement when writing Markdown?

I can't believe I'm using these words in any context, but... ugh, here goes:

I know this depends on a functioning payment service of some kind, but hear me out:

What would an ATProto-based freelancing platform look like?
December 16, 2025 at 9:19 PM
@roomy.space a curiosity -- how do you see this platform interacting with existing chat solutions?

I *mostly* mean Matrix, but also wonder how it lines up w Germ...

Some public officials and media outlets were better about not regurgitating the SPPD company line in the immediate aftermath of the raid. But we must remember: if you run with what cops tell you right after they do something seemingly reprehensible, you run the risk of repeating something like this:

If you start tonight, and watch two episodes a day of Gundam Wing, you'll be right on time to watch Endless Waltz for Christmas Eve

Old problem: stale wallpapers and no idea wtf to do about it short of making my own screencaps

New problem: a site called FanCaps, from which I now have more than 20 different images *just* of Frieren getting attacked by mimics

happy anniversary @bnewbold.net's @atproto.com "Call for Developer Projects" to all who celebrate!

looking at the "social app" section, remarkable to see how far the atmosphere has come in a year!

serious apps emerging in most categories mentioned :) below, a non-comprehensive survey:

The last few weeks have seen a swell of developer interest in atproto. Welcome! The protocol is maturing, and now is a great time for early adopters to jump in and start building. This post lists s...
