I think its really obvious that the fascist were just lying about being against bombing other countries. They always fantasized about shooting missiles into Mexico or South America, they just framed it as "Russia has the right to defend their interest" so people who are anti-Nato would RT them.

The part where she basically reveals herself to be the female version of Davis Aurini right down to the skull as a prop is kind of amazing. She wants to be seen as an intellectual but its hard to be seen as one when all your doing is shitting on universities and people trying to create actual art.

Zambot 3 is some insane work of art where Tomino, Fuyunori Gobu, Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, and the director of Voltron with a budget of like 5 bucks (Sunrise instead spent most of their efforts on Voltes V) come up with some of the most insane things in anime history. End of Evangelion is lighter than it.
Zambot 3 might be a pinnacle example of a piece of media I recommend watching but dare not rewatch myself because it will just make you consistently depressed for 11 hours and then several days afterward and then on occasion several years afterward.

Char's counterattack is insanely underrated just because of how relevant it is decades later. In fact its more relevant today than when it was created in the 80's.

So I finally fixed this by picking up Honor among Thieves, Princess Bride (Criterion Collection), and Major League (one of my favorite films as a child). I missed the sale on superman. I am really glad I upgraded to 4k just having watched Honor among Thieves.
I have a 4k player and dont have any 4k disc yet

In 2018 everyone saw the success of a few games like WoW and LoL and decided that every game needed to be live service not understanding that people at most are going to play 2-3 live service games at a time, so you just watched publishers burn hundreds of millions of dollars trying to be LoL.
All of these online PvP hero shooters cost 10 gorillion dollars and over half a decade to make and target an imagined person from 2018 who wants to play exclusively Overwatch but not precisely Overwatch

The fact that we have super wealthy and extremely stupid people trying to set themselves up as new nobles has made historical nobility, which I only know from books, far more real to me. These people were not smart, they did not rule well, and rigid hierarchies of domination are very bad.

Relena is genuinely the most important Gundam character outside of the original series. While she's based off of Sayla Mass, pretty much every princess character after her is more influenced by Relena than Sayla.
I understand WHY people were so mean to Relena when Gundam Wing aired on Toonami (misogyny) but legit, she might be my favorite character at this point.
