I'm just very tired of Jayce being characterized by his arguably ONE bad moment & Vik being absolved of all wrongdoing by depicting his actions as reasonable instead of as emotionally driven as Jayce's. If anything VIK fucked up the most by not opening up to the man most likely to understand him.

i think jayce likes to be praised but i don’t think his people pleasing is tied into his praise kink. he wants to be told he’s doing a good job in his daily life bc he has no idea what he’s doing a lot of the time and if someone tells him he’s doing well that means whatever he’s doing is working.

A character whose story is about autonomy, yet fans deny his because if they DIDN'T he's not their innocent white boy & they can't villainize the brown man...
