🔥 We have a great #ERC_Research workshop this week on Computational Methods in History and Philosophy of Economics organized by Murat Bakeev. Our team gives presentations on how to study #ModelTransfers with network analysis, simulations, & knowledge graphs (co-authored w Simon Walo & Malte Doehne).

Just came out of two hours of teaching early humans and primates to hear that Jane Goodall has sadly died. The legacy and impact of this human is beyond measure. She brought us closer to each other, closer to primates and face to face with our evolutionary inheritance.

I had a rich and wide-ranging conversation w/ Professor Philip Kitcher for the podcast this week.

We discuss his intellectual journey, interventions in creationism, sociobiology & the genome project, his philosophical evolution, and vision for philosophy serving the common good. A real privilege.

We were delighted to share our research at the #ModelTransfer Symposium at the #INEM conference! Huge thanks to @unibayreuth.bsky.social and the organizers for hosting such a stimulating event that brings together so many in the philosophy of economics community.

Looks like this volume on Mary Hesse edited by Pietro Gori is now published! If you were at #HOPOS in Vienna and went to the various talks and symposium on Hesse, you'll recognize some chapters. I wrote one on Hesse's early work (1952-1961) on scientific language.
