Gave the Boy the first book of the “Tales of the City” anthology. It’s books 1-3. We have two more encompassing all the books thru book 9. I think there are two more books after that.
He’s really relating to the characters so far. I forgot how still relevant they are to so many young gays. Recommend

8 years ago I met a boy and became his defacto mentor. He struggled with money, a plan and his own personal insecurities.
I just helped him plan his first 3 week Mexico trip all by himself. I told him in 2 years he’d be sitting on the Champs-Élysées sipping wine. I’m so proud of him. Life changed.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms S1:E1 didn’t really grab me the way the other two GOT shows did. I realize they’re setting up the characters but I don’t really have any reason to care yet. I mean I’ll continue watching but it’s in 3rd place for the three shows so far.
