Written 55 years ago, Schulz's heartfelt clarity cuts through the noise, even today.

Scan of a typed letter from 1970, from Peanuts creator Charles Schulz, addressed to "Joel Lipton, 622 N. Foothill Road, Beverly Hills, Calif. 90210"

It reads:

"Dear Joel:

I think it is more difficult these days to define what makes a good citizen than it has ever been before. Certainly all any of us can do is follow our own conscience and retain faith in our democracy. Sometimes it is the very people who cry out the loudest in favor of getting back to what they call "American Virtues" who lack this faith in our country.

I believe that our greatest strength lies always in the protection of our smallest minorities.

Sincerely yours,

Charles M. Schulz"

Not entirely sure what you mean but I think so, although some science based lifters knock the Arnold press for shoulders. Also his weekly email The Pump is actually great and inspiring and informative.

David Simon, creator of ‘The Wire’, being interviewed by Ari Shapiro (NPR)
SHAPIRO: OK, so you've spent your career creating television without Al, and I could imagine today you thinking, boy, I wish I had had that tool to solve those thorny problems...
SIMON: What?
SHAPIRO: ...Or saying...
SIMON: You imagine that?
SHAPIRO: ...Boy, if that had existed, it would have screwed me over.
SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level.
SHAPIRO: But if you're trying to transition from scene five to scene six, and you're stuck with that transition, you could imagine plugging that portion of the script into an Al and say, give me 10 ideas for how to transition this.
SIMON: I'd rather put a gun in my mouth.

I don’t hate the guy and the show is obviously big, but nobody has ever had less charisma as a host than Sean Evans. Could replace him with virtually anyone else asking the same questions researched by others.

I could only stomach a few minutes of Monster: The Ed Gein Story but I think Hunnam should've watched that scene from Tropic Thunder before getting into character.

HDYGH, @harrylylesjr.bsky.social ?

ESPN's own (formerly SBNation + his own site, plus a stint at a barcode manufacturer) found time in the hectic football season to talk taking chances and therapy in building a successful career. And of course I asked for the skincare routine.
