Yeah this is pretty terrible. The moral issues around AI are ones that people have a right to make an informed decision on around supporting
There’s no disclosure because Steam only requires it for paid games. F2P games aren’t required to disclose AI usage.
I have some feelings about that, ESPECIALLY with the amount of F2P games aimed at kids, and if you do too, you should make Steam aware of it.

For people unaware and playing/streaming Where Winds Meet, it uses GenAI for NPC chat bots, and let's you import a photo of yourself and a voice clip for character creation, which I'm sure I don't need to explain why that is fucked up

My mother, who has historically felt Reform were the only way to achieve change, commented on this today. I think Polanski is starting to speak to her as an alternative to our failed two party system, but with a wayyyyy more positive, hopeful message.
