Emmer probably isn’t lying about saying the vast majority of minnesotans that are talking to him appreciate this bullshit, because he’s too afraid of most Minnesotans to let them talk to him.

It’s not our job as @mapeunion.bsky.social members to fix our employer’s budget. We’re gathering for a solidarity social to keep moving this fight along while the state of Minnesota tries its best to screw over its employees and therefore the people who depend on public service (that’s everyone btw)

Hey @governorwalz.mn.gov you know what’s not cool? Talking about how you’re a champion for labor and for fired federal workers, then unilaterally making a huge decision for your state workers. All of our unions are right here and you start negotiating with us in 2 weeks, so kind of a weird move.

I’ve never been annoyed enough to call into a radio show before, but the discussion on “financial freedom” on @mprnews.org this morning was leaning hard into “you just have to sacrifice and try hard.” Which felt really ridiculous when the system is by and for billionaires.
