One of the costs of gen AI I'm feeling at work is the gross asymmetry of effort that it puts on the managers vs the individual contributors.

Managers are routinely inflating their messaging with Gen AI or taking short cuts that the ICs need to read and untangle.

Same as it ever was but MOAR

Later this Summer there will be theoretically football intelligent humans with large followings who present QB rankings lists.

When many of them rank Drake Maye and Sam Darnold ahead of Jalen Hurts, do not engage. It's not worth it.

(This is mostly a reminder to myself)

She's come to be a star! A super star!
There’s a wolf in LA for the first time in 100 years. A collared gray wolf entered the mountains of north Los Angeles County yesterday. Known as “BEY03F” she traveled hundreds of miles from her pack in Plumas County crossing highways, mountains, creeks and valleys.

Around 6 a.m. Saturday, the 3-year-old female arrived in the mountains north of Santa Clarita, as tracked by a GPS collar.

With names like Putrecine, Cadaverine, Spermine, and Spermidine it's hard to understand why people don't find microbiology as sexy as I do.
New in JB: Xu, Wu et al. show that putrescine biosynthesis, previously shown to be linked to biofilm formation, is essential for the viability of Fusobacterium nucleatum

"Eliminate presidential immunity" needs to become as common a refrain as "eliminate Citizens United"
this case is maybe the single best example of one of the most destructive tendencies of this court: the tendency to treat their job as a collegiate legal seminar where they operate in hypotheticals rather than deal with the real world as it exists

CONFIRMED: Last Super Bowl ever played was LIX and eagles will remain indefinite champions.

Go birds!
a little known NFL bylaw actually invalidates the Seahawks' win last night, meaning the Eagles continue to be Super Bowl champs. I don't make the rules, it is odd

What the epstein files have taught me? None of this is real. It's the people who want bitcoin to succeed pumping the money they stole from others right back into it. Specifically to fool others into investing again. So they can rug pull again and get more money out of people.

Nah, no one in particular, getting ahead of the discussion. And reflecting on last year and how legit Hurts was versus the QB play today which was meh at best.

Darnold: Not MVP.

Jalen Hurts is better than Sam Darnold.
