Today is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

An inquest into a triple femicide 10 years ago recommended that governments declare an epidemic of intimate partner violence. Many governments have are yet to do so.

The new recycling rules in Ontario are a massive problem for non profits, especially food banks.

This article quite my colleugues at the North Hastings Community Cupboard. We're now dealing with reduced government support, increasing needs and this extra cost.
