Age verification? I used to rent Betamax videos.
Age verification? I got to smoke on a commercial airplane.
Age verification? Our first color TV used tubes, and I don't mean for the picture.
(And it took 2 minutes to warm up enough to show a picture.)

In fact let me be 💯with you bsky

Our real fight in this upcoming election will be getting stubborn leftists & so called white progressives to go to the polls in overwhelming numbers for some underwhelming cis white male candidate

Because that's what we need to win. And too many can't accept that
So if you are starting Today with, I can't even talk to people who would elect GN...

You're willing to accept that the weakest among us will die as things get worse. And you gave up on even talking to people about options to avoid that.

So you are just as okay stepping over bodies

Yall rather live under the oppression black people have fought for hundreds of years than vote for Gavin Newsome (and I don't even like that white nigga.)

I just don't know how to argue with that mindset

I'm not saying we have to pick h
Gavin as of now...

But

I think people don't understand that the right just needs us not to vote for him if he's our only option. That's what they want

We need to start thinking like people living under fascism. You will likely only have bad or tainted options
Supporting Gavin Newsom in the primary is announcing that you'll step over the dead bodies of trans people and unhoused people to get what you personally want. It's a character defect. We can't be friends.

On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.

funny fact amidst the AI stuff is that non-tech white collar job growth is in the least-bad position in more than two years right now, mostly because we've staunched the bleeding at temp agencies and hiring has picked up at law firms and consultancies

This happened at San Diego Comic Con and honestly I still remember it vividly every time I see his name. He was rude, entitled entirely due to his name, and a complete piece of shit to everyone that had to deal with him (except the higher-ups b/c of course they were) I wish him nothing but misery
I met Gene Simmons in real life for an extended period (twice actually) when we were working on “Archie Meets Kiss.”

Rather than my name, he referred to me as Forrest Whittaker.

An absolutely obnoxious garbage pile of a person and I genuinely hope he steps barefoot on a lego. 🙂
