Lifeline on PS2

A microphone-controlled action game by SCE (published by Konami). It is just as bizarre as it sounds.

The year is 2029. Play as an operator helping the main character survive aliens on a space hotel. You literally have to tell her when to shoot at foes.

Lutinha de robô com controles esquisitos e muito estilo, esse port do arcade pra Saturn sacrifica muito dos visuais mas acaba sendo surpreendentemente funcional (mais que os de HotD, por exemplo)

Wanzers moving out on today’s #RandomGameSaturday

Front Mission 4 isn’t talked about as much as 3 but it’s a good game. Great even. It’s a bit more challenging, has cool music, fun customization and a more grounded tone and style compared to 3. Harkens back to FM1 and 2.

Contact is neat. The stat system is pretty unique. It's one of those games where there is no "level", but you gain stats by using the ability in question. Want better cooking stats? Try to cook more complex recipes. But that also applies to combat stats. Want defense? Let enemies hit you.

I actually put a lot of time into this one. I liked it better than DOAX2. Loading times were terrible though.

Spooky game for #RandomGameSaturday!!

So I recently restarted Alan Wake to go through with the peeps on Discord. It's been a while but the end of that first chapter still hits.

Anyway, besides this OG 360 copy, here are a few pics of the Illuminated art book. Physical edition! Who still has one?

My original copy of Alan Wake for the Xbox 360. I wasn't a big 360 guy so I didn't have a bunch of games for it. What actually got me to get this game was the CAGcast crew gushing about it during their playthroughs.

The Alan Wake: Illuminated art book. I actually picked this up a few years ago at Long Island Retro.

The section describing Bright Falls and Alan's arrival in the beginning of the game.

Throughout the game, Alan finds manuscript pages of a book that he wrote. Except he has no recollection of ever writing them. However they often coincide with the events that are happening in game.

A spooky RPG for a spooky #RandomGameSaturday month! I fell in love with the Shadow Hearts series after playing this. Great use of classic and folkloric horror elements.

A little late today but it's still #RandomGameSaturday and it's still spooky.

Here is Alone in the Dark: Inferno. Luckily, PS3 version had some enhancements so they gave it a subtitle. Otherwise, how could you tell it apart from Alone in the Dark, Alone in the Dark,or the recent Alone in the Dark?

Ganso JaJaMaru-Kun, 1999, WonderSwan for #RandomGameSaturday
I love this series. Jaleco's very Japanese ninja action classic translates perfectly to this port. The simple gameplay, speed, and sprites are enjoyable, and the updates with speech, and cutscenes make it one of the best on WS.
