It works relatively well for a game released in 2003. There has been a few instances where it has not been able to recognize what I am saying, but trying a deep southern accent always does the trick! 😅

The game released as Operator’s Side in Japan. Makes sense, as you are looking through fixed cameras. All versions came with a USB headset.

The game did not receive very positive reviews.
However, you can judge for yourself, as we have been streaming it live on Twitch (more this Thursday)!

Lifeline on PS2

A microphone-controlled action game by SCE (published by Konami). It is just as bizarre as it sounds.

The year is 2029. Play as an operator helping the main character survive aliens on a space hotel. You literally have to tell her when to shoot at foes.

Pikmin 2 on Wii had launched under the New Play Control line in other regions years prior. An example of Nintendo sitting on a release until what they deem to be the most optimal time.

The inclusion of widescreen, pointer controls, and a new rewind function makes my preferred method to play.

Pikmin 2 on Wii

A very unusual US re-release of the GameCube game on Wii. This launched as a $20 Nintendo Selects title shortly after the announcement of Pikmin 3 on Wii U!

Nobody was buying Wii software at this point. Everyone had moved on to next-gen systems. So it bombed.

While helping our grandparents move today, we found the original N64 and copy of Banjo-Kazooie that I played in the 90’s! I would get my own system and copy shortly later.

This game was very important in shaping me into the game player that I am today. 🙂

The game might not be well known because it only released in North America, despite being funded and published by Nintend.

Except!! The game did get a special Club Nintendo release in Japan, much later. Weird!
