Exactly! And during the Men's downhill yesterday the commentators said that one of the racers had no ACL in one knee from an accident last year and he still raced, they said it was fairly common. People who quickly criticize are often showing their ignorance.

The number of women telling me that Lindsey Vonn should have stepped down to allow another to compete is MIND BOGGLING. This criticism is rarely (if ever?) leveled at male athletes. Vonn earned that spot. It was her decision to take the risk. Only women are expected to "make space" for others.
