Thats it.. I needed a leveller and now I'm sold on this just for the name.

Maybe give the paint a quick run over with really gritty sand paper to allow the paint stripper to get a hold under the paint! I've found old paint is bloody tough and I've just had to scrape the bloody stuff off manually.

A bit of O.P.P - Naughty by Nature and a revisit to an old design I felt like doodling with. Need to upgrade my simple sketch to pro as I love using it.
New design for a Tie fighter I am exploring.

I guess a little late, but here's a render to not let Star Trek day pass by. The USS Atlantis and the USS Kaneda side by side. It's cool to see both generations together! #startrek #llap #scifi #starship #spaceship

Walking back down to the town yesterday. The Sun was warm and the birds singing in the evening light. #65x24
Path down into Conwy from the mountain. The Castle is just visible in the evening sunlight.

Cut my coffee down to one cup a day. The increasing anxiety I was getting has all but gone and I feel better for it! Waking up at 3am and worrying about some random thing that I have no control over is a sure sign to step off the gas.

Great White tours.. Guaranteed to see 24+ footers off ‘Deadman’s shelf’. Hull needs some work and it’s only been salvaged twice from the Seabed. Rock bottom price!! Can’t fail… Tragic what happened to the last skipper!
Small boat that would be ideal for a new venture.

It’s the next day the big project is now finally over and I’m just sitting here working out what I start making next cos there is a list of things I have planed plus loads of smaller jobs. Just like art projects picking up the new one can be a head scratcher.

To celebrate finally finishing my new table set I got some little touches to make it feel more useable in them encroaching long nights. The overground tube fabric cushion was more silly a idea but now feels incredibly fitting. Now to make the rest of the space as nice. #woodworking
Now completed workshop table set with standing and rolling table

Looks amazing, top job Des! I've some wood work in the kitchen coming up, inspired to put some effort into the craft now 👍😀

Fascinating story about a “ghost” concept car that was designed in 1939 but possibly/maybe/probably not actually built at the time, and only discovered when the sketches were found in a barn decades later.

Stunning light for my evening walk. The Great Orme catches the last of the sunshine.
A wide panoramic view of the Irish Sea and the majestic Great Orme in evening sunshine.

Scaffolding was taken down this morning. The chief said we’d done a great job painting the house! Made my day.. he’s most definitely not a flippant man.

A few weeks back we went to a local spot near Beddgelert. Just waiting for the leaves to turn yellow/red and I’ll be heading back to get some pics.
Gorge just down from Beddgelert.

Not the best picture, but just to illustrate that the Viggen also folds up, but in its own way.
A Viggen in a subterranean hangar, demonstrating how its vertical stabilizer folds to allow it to fit under the low ceiling.

And one of the industries which, relying entirely on freelance workers, but requiring public audience spaces, was fucked over completely by the pandemic, without mercy or assistance, but survived, on its knees so it can now get another kick in the teeth from these soulless twats.

Hey kids!

Remember when the pandemic struck and eventually the (Tory) government told everyone to stay at home, and the arts and entertainment industries were one of the few things keeping everyone from pulling our own eyes out of our skulls from abject fear and boredom?

Remember that?

How is this repeatedly made into a policy issue - by *all* parties - when the blunt fact of the matter is that grown adults who are obliged to pay for their own education, and relentlessly pursued to repay their loans, should be able to study whatever the fuck they want.
