This bad apple moved from Farage Orchard(UKIP) to Farage Orchard(Brexit Party) to Farage Orchard(Reform). There were already some rotten apples after all his Leave EU funder & sidekick had regular meetings with officials, the chief Cox’s pippin (NF) back in the day was regularly on Russia Today.

Just when you think they can’t get anymore pathetic, one comes along & surpasses himself by being more dickish then the last one! I am surprised he’s not advocating withdrawal from Nobel……..!

Fiona Bruce & BBC Politics are a ffing disgrace! Never willing to hold the right properly to account. Why Victoria Derbyshire stays with such a moribund outfit, I don’t know. She’d be far better than Bruce & Kuenssberg- audiences might get some answers.

Fiona Bruce shuts down Zack Polanski's attempt to press Zia Yusuf over Reform UK's links to Putin.

"Bribrary from Russia. Pretty serious for our national security."

"There's other things that the audience wants to talk about", Bruce responds.

Good on @zackpolanski.bsky.social.

I’ve been saying this for ten years now but possibly not often enough: Ask Them What They Think The Words They’re Using Mean. And then ask them to name the ‘problematic’ people. We had ‘sovereignty’, ‘laws’ & ‘unelected bureaucrats’. The US now has ‘Antifa’, the ‘radical left’ & ‘insurrection’. Ask!

What the hell does Farage thinks he’s doing, going off to America *again* to maliciously slag off British teachers at some private Christian college, while offering to peddle their courses over here?
What a repulsive, grubby little traitor.

Zia Yusuf seems to be on @bbc-politics.bsky.social programs an awful lot given he is not an elected politician. Do other parties non MPs get as much platforming?

The BBC's justification for platforming Farage beyond the actual significance of his small parliamentary party are his polls. A rather cynical explanation, for he wouldn't be where he is without the constant, uncritical appearances he's given on the BBC. It's a (literally) vicious circle.

I don’t think you could accuse Victoria of cheering them on, many of her colleagues that we see in the more prominent slots on BBC & with their little pieces on the website on the other hand…..

But he is elected, he hasn’t been sanctioned like Putin, he hasn’t been condemned by the international community like Putin, he hasn’t invaded a foreign country. Farage is an admirer of his friend! So don’t sensationalise international politics with tawdry clickbait! Waiting for Farage Gill episode!

I see Jack & @samcoatessky.bsky.social are advertising Starmer’s meeting with Modi as ‘meeting Putin’s friend’. What a nasty tawdry take, politics as sensationalised gossip. Shameful. What’s the population of India, Sam, what’s their GDP, what’s their pre-eminent industry. We may not approve of Modi

Don’t understand why Starmer found himself unable to strike this tone. Pointing out the suffering on both sides.

My statement on the 2nd Anniversary of the October 7th Attacks
Two years on, we remember the horrific terrorist attacks of October 7th 2023, when Hamas brutally murdered innocent people in Israel and took hostages, including British citizens. The pain and grief of that day is still felt deeply.

As I fought alongside my constituent Noam and his wife for the release of his mother, Ada Sagi, I recall the anguish and fear endured until the day she was finally freed. The relief felt when she was returned to her family was immense but that joy was set against the unimaginable grief of others still waiting for their loved ones to return, and the sorrow of those whose families will never be whole again. My heart remains with them. We must continue to demand the release of all remaining hostages without delay.

Here in the UK, we must also confront the painful reality of antisemitism. The vile terrorist attack on Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Manchester last week is a stark reminder of the dangers we face if hatred and division are allowed to spread. Our Jewish communities must never feel unsafe in their own places of worship, on our streets, or in any aspect of their daily lives.

We must stand united against antisemitism and all forms of hate. We must ensure Brent, London and the rest of the country are places where every community can live freely, without fear and with respect.

On this day it is also our responsibility to acknowledge the suffering and trauma endured in Gaza. Tens of thousands of innocent civilians have been killed, many are starving and families have been torn apart. Israel's ongoing ethnic cleansing continues to devastate lives every single day. We call for an end to all violence, for the release of Palestinian prisoners held without trial, for full humanitarian aid to be allowed into Gaza and for an enduring peace between the states of Palestine and Israel. With a safe and secure Israel and a viable Palestine.

Two years on from October 7th, we must honour all victims by renewing our determination …

What gets me is Farage,Jenrick, Badenoch don’t seem to have an original idea between them. It’s copy & past from the Trump playbook. The don’t seem to bother with the consequences.

worship attacked. Starmer is right to condemn antisemitism BUT is wrong to leave it there & not condemn other intolerance, not to condemn acts of Israeli Govt, not to defend flotilla, not to condemn mosque attack. He’s wrong to describe the protest against the Israeli Govt violence as unBritish.
cityhobo61.bsky.social
I condemn Antisemitism but also Islamophobia. I have empathy for British dues who shouldn’t feel unsafe, but who do largely because of the actions of Netanyahu. I have empathy for the dreadful suffering in Gaza (Starmer never mentiond this) I have sympathy for anyone who is seeing their places of

Is it just me that thinks it’s unbritish to continue to support the genocidal Govt running Israel. I condemn Hamas attack on 7/10 & the attack in Manchester, but I also condemn Israeli Govt egregious excesses in Gaza & the Peacehaven firebombing of the mosque. Protest is a right.
cityhobo61.bsky.social
To conflate protest against Israeli Govt excesses with antisemitism is the broad brush strokes of the right wing. We need a serious PM who can deal with complexities, condemn all that need condemning & showing humanity to ALL sides suffering attacks by others.
