This is who she was.
Passionate in her beliefs. Fiercely loyal to her friends. Never afraid to let you know exactly where she stood. The best.

Fun Fact: I remember arguing with her over which of us hated Piggy the most. I was sure I did. She disagreed. It remains unresolved...

And it worked.

Social media is poisonous for our wellbeing.

Since then, I've dragged a few friends with me, and I can tell you - to a person, they thanked me for saving them from it.

Step away. It helps.

This is absolutely true.

Things were overwhelming me at this time last year. It led to a TIA (mini-stroke), brought on by massively elevated blood pressure, which, itself, was brought on by stress (the US election, etc).

After that, I stepped back a bit. I decided that I needed to be aware... 1/2
Dialing down the use of social media for a week reduced symptoms of anxiety, depression and insomnia in young adults, according to a study published on Monday in the journal JAMA Network Open.

Young adults who engaged in a social media β€œdetox” reported reductions in depression, anxiety and insomnia, though it was unclear how long the effects would last.

Times have been tough in this Afghani town ever since the woke mob shut down the old poppy seed factory. So when Vladimir Putin promised to pay everyone to create MAGA Twitter accounts, they finally had something to cheer about again. Then Twitter turned on its new public location feature.

President Miller wants the US population brought down to a much more manageable 100 million.

I think everything is working as intended.

Just wait till their $150 billion worth of camps are finished.

No, it's not.

I know tons of people who refuse to leave,no matter how bad it gets, because they're addicted to their big follower numbers.

They wouldn't leave when Musk openly became a Nazi. They wouldn't leave after having their reach throttled, and they won't leave now.

I'm starting to think that ending month-to-month leases was the loss-leader.

The never really intended to do it, but instead opted to use it as outrage bait; once they "cancelled" it, after the predictable public outcry, the public thought they won. The rest of the bill went ahead, as planned.
