It's very funny when NPR is
interviewing an expert in something and it all feels fairly normal and evenhanded and then at the end they're like "and that was Christopher Halliburton from the Center for Exploding Venezuela"

It’s a bold choice to open your book with nothing but a long list of names like some book of genesis. Like idk who any of these people are. Idc who they are either lol

Hell yeah keep going!
California, a state of nearly 40,000,000 people, has the same amount of representation in the United States Senate as Wyoming, a state of less than 600,000 people.

This is the direct result of a deal struck between slave states and free states in the 1700s.

It’s time for that to change.

It’s also so funny that the right has such a monopoly on violence that even a ceo murder is done by a center right, wealthy tech bro.

Like the only revolutionary momentum the left has in this nation is online arguing about who is more commie than thou

Can we get some rich bicoastal elite to pay for an ad campaign in New York for jury nullification?

Finished it yesterday! It’s pretty good. It’s a slow burn for most of the book then everything happens at once. I really like it though!

Just finished Salvation by Peter Hamilton. Kinda interesting world building. Not sure if I’ll listen to the next book though. Does anyone recommend it? #scifi #booksky

Maybe you could create/use the interface from the dependency then import the version you want specifically and implement the interface?

Seems like what you’re asking for could break your dependency. After all if it needs v1.1.0 and you force it to use v0.0.9 it might not be compatible.

I think you can create a module that has its own go.mod that specifies the version of the dependency that module uses.

I could be wrong about this though. I don’t usually have more than one go mod in a project.

Are you trying to use a specific version of a dependency? Or trying to replace a dependency with something local?

I really like the simplicity of Go. Jumping into legacy Go code is also much easier because of the one way to do it.

I also don’t think ai is going to go further than code completion and comment writing.

A bill to create a 4-day work week is about to be introduced in the Pennsylvania legislature.

Companies with more than 500 workers would have to shorten their week to 32 hours, without reducing pay.

Recent polling shows that 81% of workers nationwide want a four-day week.

United auto workers are looking for 40% increases over the new contract.

Looks like that’s realistic to me!
BREAKING: Pilots at American Airlines have approved a new contract that includes raises of more than 46%.

The immediate payments and bonuses alone are worth $1.1 billion.

Worker power gets results.

What’s going on at Linus Tech Tips is like what happened with film in the early 20th century. Like no shit the writers and actor formed unions cause any corporation in media will always want more, faster. Then throw you away as soon as your done. If you haven’t seen the GamerNexus video, you should!
