We've made good progress on trash and recycling collection this weekend. We will resume the normal collection days for frontside and alleys.

Reminder: DC’s snow team is fully deployed clearing roads. DGS is clearing sidewalks & entrances at public facilities. Property owners must clear sidewalks unless exempt. DC Volunteer Snow Team is helping seniors & residents with disabilities. Snow info: snow.dc.gov

The DC Snow Team is moving along with snow and slush removal on streets, bike lanes, and trails as sleet and rain continue. Stay off the roads if travel isn’t necessary, give plows space, and watch for residual slushy spots.

UPDATE:

Metro Rail is now operating reduced Sun service. Bus service is changing hourly due to weather & travel challenges for operators reporting to work.
