We weren’t born to consume and die. We were born to connect, to create, to protect. The colonial story told us that we are separate from nature. The new (but ancient) story, the true one, knows that we are nature defending itself. We need to remember this before it is too late.

In our global financial system, "normal" money (such as New Zealand Dollars) is created as interest-bearing debt. This exacerbates inequality, weakens community ties, and destroys the planet.

Autism is also substantially (certainly not entirely) hereditary. That it persists, has persisted for millennia, says something important: It must be adapative, beneficial in some way, to individuals and/or to the whole. Ponder on that.
Autism isn’t an epidemic. It's not a disease. It’s a natural variation in how people think…which, frankly, is a relief in a world where most people don't think at all.
