Australia has one of the worst extinction records on Earth — and Labor’s doing a deal with the Coalition to overhaul nature laws.

Labor can’t protect nature while protecting polluters.

This shocking deal is a gross betrayal of millions of voters
Here's what Labor would do if they gave a rat's about the environment.

Murray Watt's initial response was to approve Woodside's extension. Despite environmental destruction, Murray Watt and Woodside came to a backroom agreement.

The ECBC act is a green stamp for developers. It's unlikely that will change with new legislation.

The Woodside case proves what we’ve long suspected: Australia’s ‘environment protection’ law does no such thing
Approval of the North West Shelf extension shows the purpose of the EPBC Act is to allow developments, not to protect and preserve

Just remembered this jaw-dropping graph by @oceansclimatecu.bsky.social showing the rate of change in CO2 during the previous two deglaciations of the Pleistocene (which, as a fun aside, featured ~400 feet of sea level rise) as compared with today

Labor of course do not need one single vote of the LNP to pass any laws, so they are choosing to make the laws weaker.

This is how AU media - protects Labor w misinformation & campaigns against the Greens

There's no 'emergence' Labor prefers the Coalition. When Tanya Plibersek 'dared' to come to agreement over the same legislation, the PM scuttled it

History repeats.. this'll be bad policy. Labor's the problem

Um, ICE just coldly shot an unarmed PRIEST in the head w a pepper ball when he (and everyone around him) clearly posed no threat.

For the crime of … complaining about government policy.

So - let me get this straight…

They’ll ban social media for under 16s even though most experts say it WON’T work

But they won’t ban gambling advertising & other key recommendations even though most experts say it WILL work

What? #4corners #auspol

Polar amplification causes the temperature difference between Poles and Equator to narrow, so at times the Jet Stream can reach high latitudes and accelerate warming due to albedo loss and loss of sea ice and oceans in their capacity to act as heat buffers. arctic-news.blogspot.com/2025/10/reco...

New government data confirms what everyone already knew...multinational gas exporters are reaping billions from Australian resources while paying little or no tax.

"People are getting increasingly sick of it."
