I guess on veteran’s day I’ll say that my great grandfather was shot down and killed during WWII fighting fascism. They never found his body. My grandmother was 10 and shattered and it led to generational trauma.

Hey @durbin.senate.gov, public school teacher and wife of a veteran here. I just want you to know that I’m ashamed of you and your failure to represent the good and decent people of my home state.
Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.
