It sucks that Weiss Schwarz is a very niche card game. The one match I played was really fun and interesting, but pretty much no local store carries it and there's no real easy to use simulator (outside of Tabletop Sim) for online play.

Did a double take at the supermarket when I saw this. I thought I was sent back to the late 90s where old Beckett magazines showed fake looking Pokemon on their covers. Then I remembered about the DLC coming out.

Holy shit, Splitgate actually listened to their community and overhauled their game. They got rid of everything from Splitgate 2 and are just remaking a better Splitgate 1. Incredible.

To be clear, this is just as bad as the Amazon AI dub thing. Not as much to meme about, but definitely just as bad. Remember when YouTube switched over to AI closed captions, removed the options for creators to provide their own, and then they all got immediately worse forever? This is like that.
After publishing this article, I've heard from many that CR seems to be using AI to produce dub CCs. Now, thanks to a slip-up CR had with episode 6 dub of The Banished Court Magician, we can say that with 100% certainty: Crunchyroll is using the AI service Ollang.com for its dub closed captions!
