There are many historical examples of protests creating change. Obviously the "resistance" does not have solid leadership with a run book and the situation is fluid. I just responded about dissing on a protest as if it is counter productive. If you think it's counter productive don't go.

They’re related. The government is shut down to hide the president’s personal and financial ties to an international sex trafficking ring. Occupying cities that vote for Democrats prevents Congress from holding him accountable. Republicans are willing to destroy the USA to protect pedophiles.
