Okay so
I *did* go back to it and beat it on Perfect Agent. Just so we're clear, I am not proud of my stubbornness, nor do I have full control over it. I was cursing myself and questioning why I do this to myself. Then I beat it and remembered why.

Current level of Perfect Dark may actually be the hardest level of any video game I've ever played. Everything has to be executed damn near perfectly, even the slightest error in an otherwise flawless run will bring the whole attempt crashing down

"an absolute no-no" okay I thought I was using hyperbole in discussing how people talk about this stuff but fuck me. Every time an intentionally disturbing creative decision raises controversy, it's like "wuh oh. :/ I guess they didn't realize how this looks to Normal People. Whoopsie-doodle."
i know you’re not supposed to read the conversation in the comments but the conversation is depressing and anti-art in all the typical ways to justify censorship… like there’s so much to unpack here especially with how quickly people paint art as “abuse” when it discusses difficult topics.

Pizza and ice cream once may be an entire year's planned discretionary budget for a team, they do NOT value them enough to provide common comfort. If their doing this? Their not just scared, their TERRIFIED.

Spoke with a source who told me the call volume is so high, a call center for both Mastercard & Visa is bringing out pizza and ice cream so agents don’t quite amid the rush. Long waits are causing dropped calls.
