A good audio book with a gentle narration is like… just the absolute best thing when I’m going through stressful times.

Currently enjoying T. Kingfisher’s paladin series narrated by Joel Richards. Narrator’s voice is like a cozy blanket straight from the dryer.

I do not care for the hollow tubes of middling size like Penne and Ziti. Tubular pastas that feel more like novelty foods (e.g. manicotti, cavatappi) can stay. They are interesting when combined with sauces.

Like yes I know the development history and sure I’d have liked something a little darker or with adjustments to character arcs. But come on. We can still enjoy things we critique.

Veilguard is so damn good. It launched as a complete game with no gamebreaking bugs on day one. An EA game! Did that!! And overall it’s so well done that the “flaws” feel more like creative differences in the moment when playing.
