This is also just the result of not knowing trans people. A lot of us are always exploring our own gender. I know several trans people who transitioned post transition. A friend of mine came out as a trans girl in middle school and recame out as a demiguy a couple years ago as a mid 20s adult.
Pure moral panic. How, precisely, would a child who experiments with a different haircut or pronouns get “locked in” to a trans identity?
The parents who had no problem letting her identify as trans suddenly restrict her from identifying as cis? It makes no sense.
