I live next to a dry creek channel that I walk to daily. Every week there is at least one new tent with someone living in it. Today I saw one with a mom and a son who was maybe 10 years old. He was very chatty and cheerful. I couldn't cry when I got back home. This country is dissonant and evil.

Weed or alcohol used to help me relax, now if i have any amount i just get sad or panic. It's easy to forget that when I would just like to relax and enjoy myself. I have to just come up with new tools that wont betray me. Sobriety is really frustrating in that i have to relearn how to just CHILL.
