lousy w/ keeping people in the loop but an fyi that we'll be releasing a small chunk of videogame in a few days, prob right at the beginning of february. it's a lil portion of our ongoing project, Pharmakos, which we're submitting as an entry to a friend's game jam; fans of weird stuff may enjoy it

every few months i am alerted to some wondrous aerial phenomenon supposedly playing out directly above where i live: blood moon, aurora borealis, the sky raining money. but always when i walk outside there is nothing. i want to find whoever is perpetrating these vile crimes and hang them

carmack is such an incredibly stupid guy. i used to think he was a genius at one thing and dumb as rocks at everything else, but i now realise he was only ever a garden variety fuckwit with the luxury of spending immense amounts of time on his interests and the vacuousness to hold only one at a time

when we set out to make a prime-style exploration game i was mostly pitching it because i wasn't feeling up to spending years on a conventional level-based fps thing. so it goes. but with prime 4 being what it is i reckon i'm pretty galvanized to make a good one of those
