Seeing multiple artists lately say they got covid at cons even while masking but then I see photos of most people wearing loose fitting ear-loop masks. For maximum protection you NEED A TIGHT SEAL! Head-loop masks like N95 are best (or at least get ear loop adjusters/mask tape so KN95 fits tighter).

I think you could solve this by first copying geometry verbatim, lighting verbatim, etc.

then adding or removing things to it that are barely distinguishable from the original fidelity package

and only THEN attempting to 'modernize' it one single aspect at a time

but that takes time to do!

I love that the Halo CE art style is practically unable to be satisfyingly translated into the modern era of graphics. Every artist behind the remaking the visuals over the past decade has been obsessed with making everything looks glossy and greebly and gaudy to no end.

each day seems to make a little more obvious this isn't a side story but the main thing driving a lot of what he does
